I am taking a course on the internet and I have a question that needs answered. It reads:
Deep Thought and the number 42 are near and dear to the hearts of all Douglas Adams(Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) fans. What role does the number 42 play in the lives of all dogs?
I haven't read any of Douglas Adams books but I can tell by researching this question that there are thousands of devoted fans out there.
I haven't been able to find a connecton. Can anyone help?

I have no idea if this is what you need, but after a brief search on the web:
"All dogs have a total of 42 teeth over their lifetimes"

Thanks,
I never thought of teeth! I kept thinking it must be some kind of hidden meaning of life found in the books (LOL). No wonder I wasn't having any luck. I spent all my time reseaching the books and never thought to just search Dogs. I guess that was the lesson I was supposed to learn! Thanks again for saving me countless wasted and frustrating hours!

Glad I could help.
I have to say, when I first saw the question, 'teeth' was not my first thought, so I wouldn't be too worried about not spotting it
(I seem to take some perverse pleasure in trying to find really obscure things on the internet... perhaps I should get out more... )
Good luck with the course.
