You want more brackets:
(1+6)x6+0-3+3=42
Otherwise it looks like:
1+(6x6)+0-3+3 = 1+36 = 37

took a few minutes but hey its late....173657 1*7*(3!/6)+5*7=1*7*(6/6)+35=1*7*1+57=7+35=42
