or, rahter trippers. as its W and I.
Back to hospital again today.
'lump Mk2' under armpit erupted. circa 3 AM (I wasn't asleep, just trying* to sleep).
so I got up, to steralise, it, and my hands and, gave up on sleep.
listend to IPod on sofa until W got up about 7 I think. - p[hones hospital.
Went to hospital.
yeh. this isn't just a boil... its a massive boil/cyst!
still on the cletromicine antibiotics, and now also ciprofloxacin. - they've dressed the wound, and given me some spare dressings. sadly this means I can't use the arm very easily but its getting a bit like that lready anyhow, due to lose of sensation in it.
have to go back in on Thursaday, if its not cleared up then I'll be in overnight, for IV antibiotics.
I've had boils before... and, thinking about it... yeh, I recon.... on balance... its a better outcome than it being relapse of the cancer... #relief

Mind... still awaiting for someone to ahve examined the CT scans, to 'make sure', - or, rather waiting for somne to remember to tell me they've looked at them, and what the outcome is... - it was origionally a scan to look for brain tumour, aftearall
double dose of useual steroids. - so hungry! and hypoglycemic, in reverse-tyupe-stylee-connectiveness...

Of course you could not do with a regular boil/cyst but had to go for the massive version
But I'm sure I speak for many when I say we are happy with any relief - no matter how big or small.
So now we await that scans and other tests will acquit you also

I completely agree that the smiley is more "yuk" than the "yuk" smiley.
Here in the States in the late 70s there was a program that spread across the nation for parents to stick "Mr. Yuk" stickers on household poisons and other hazards around the home to warn children about dangers. Mr. Yuk looks very similar to .

Be sure to play the PSA to hear the Mr. Yuk song.

oh. man. yeh. the smiley is so me, man. innit.
like. today. so surreal. - not sleeping really doesn't do so well for me thesedays, given the fact I'm drugged up to my tonails
the temezipam was just floating through my blood all day.
walking through the swimmingpool all day, man, just so non universe spatial thing in my bonce.
felt so fainty passing out-like coming back on the bus, and walking home etc
doubled the dose of hydrocortisone, so back to pregnancy cravings and eating for triplets I'm gona be so fat
also now turning native; I think Jamaica is now my official adopted nation,
William's be sent out, over the road, to get peas n rice, and goat curry
on goating back from hopsical I ate two massive pies, and beans then had a nap; oops! turned into me utterly out for the count, for like... 6 or 7 hours?!; I honstly didn't know what day it was on waking
luckily; I reclaimed real memory, or I might hav e feared yet another seizure whilst asleep
gonna eate... and eat, then must remove this dressing and see what yuk is hopefully underneath (hoping it might have reduced in size and oozed out a ton more puss...)
I well impressed the nurse earlier with my ability to ssmell infection in it; whilst she was cleaning the wound, she was muttering that she didn't know which area quite to swab, nor if she'd be able to get anything as it didn't appear to be pustulating;
I had to inform her it was; the slight pressure (slight? ouchy ouchy ouch ouch) - and I could smell the infection, so pretty sure she must have found something to send off to the oab lab
if I get the dressing off after food, then I can shower and re-dress it
gosh I went so spark out for that 'nap' this afternoonl; very unlike me; but at least the sleeping has eaten up teh temezipam floating in my brain making me feel all in a trecle swiming pool all day
had to take quick call on hydrocortisone, decided was best to take 4 PM dose, on waking, at 8.30 PM. - afterall my 'morning dose', was taken at 3.30 AM, after not sleeping, and lunchtime dose was then about 8 AM
I so don't fit their idea of normal; dosing so hard to work out when I've often got 48 hour long days or more as I don't sleep.
think I'll try skip a sleepin tablet tonight; I've been spendin g far too much (happy) time, taking to the penguines in their boxes, in my brain.
actually. its quite nice, being that loopy. I can total block out reality and the universe, including my own physical form, and hence dont' feel anything, which would be nice right now... as its a bit hurty sort of in my ... body area
but... gotta keep away from the penguines so I can eat me peas n rice, man. jah.

As it's technically the middle of the night, I hope you're asleep undrugged. I don't believe you prefer lack of sensation; I think that, like me, you trade pains for pleasures.

I said at the beginning, and have held to it (thus far at least), no painkillers. not taken any yet
not going to take the temizepam tonight; but did take the melatonin earlier (doesn't make you sleep, just helps reset of my wonky 24-hour/serkadian clock).
showered late, so removed the dressing.
just had fun tryign to work out why dressings, for the human body are squre. there arn't any square bits on the human body - gimme an ovel err oval dressing, that would have been so much easier now I've a squarre dressing, held in place by a massive sheet of sticky thing, covering most of my left brest, and onto my back and of course, now the arm isn't very free for movement
gosh. my breasts are getting bigger
I'm sure they didn't mention 'gender resignment' as one of teh chemo side-affects
sleep? this early? pah.. no chance; I slept this afternoon randomly and unuseually from about 2 PM until gone 8 PM time for more now, then supper I think... I can't stop eating with the steroids so wanna get back to 11 stone 12, as I was pre-diagnosis, now up to 13 stone 12 - one of the benifits of the chemo was ment to be weight loss
mind, a good half a stone of the weight gain must be these new breasts
I don't like the painkiller idea, I much prefer to know which bits of me are hurting at any given time, so I've a vague notion of what might be occcuring where
ATM, left arm sore, but kinda desensatised too due to I guess nerve dammage now. shoulder more painful, and the armpit leision itself, not really hurting as such, but that's quite depandant on the movement or position of the arm.
Asides that just some random nausea caused by the ciprofloxacin antibiotic (had that several times during chemo); luckily the nausea is easily fixed by eating of course
may try for bed within the hour I think... must get laaundry laundry done tomorrow... massive load of clothes to do, plus towels in a second load...
