if anyones reading this... could, you look at the 'who's online list, for the h2g2 specific one (err think there is a link to it somewhere on my PS)... Either, soemthing very weird is going on... or... that is more site-specific user's than I've seen logged on in about.... 8 or 9 years and some names I've not seen in ages and ages... which is what makes me think something weird might be happening; as I'm pretty sure some of the people I see on that list oughta* have had their ability to log in curtailed by the various sign in changes (SSO/BBCID) I'm going to have a shower...

yeh... I just did some sluthing... some of those researcher's, with U numbers about and below the six figure length, are, in some cases, researchers who have never posted... and I noticed a fair few one's from back 1999 or 2000 ish with nothing at all in their PS, plus some of the user'names are duplicated down the list (though ahve differnt U numbers on their PS) <weird: the number is going up too; it was about 250 ish when I thought and I saw it reach up to above 500

He is online. As is U800938 which apparently is no h2g2 user. The date isn't shown, and it says :"Sorry, but this user must write something about themself before you can leave them a message.

I did propose staging an entry-writing event/demonstration to raise awareness of h2g2 but I have a feeling this isn't it. For one think, only two people responded, and we haven't set a date yet. Although I think just before March 17, the deadline for expressing interest in buying the site, would be a good time.

Some sort of system-wide back-up, reset or other tidying-up procedure may be taking place.

It must be somethign like that... the number keeps going up too; maybe some kind of stress testing on the new skin? ; see how it can cope with lots of people logged in,... yes... there was a 'nighthoover' on the list... but it wasnt' the real nighthoover (wrong U number) right... I was going to get a shower...

At the moment of writing (21:08 Israel time), nighthoover, also known as Researcher 183456, is online.

[On a more WTF-is-this-error note, it's really neat in a nostalgic sort of way to see Dan's online-eyes again since he's been locked out since last year; it also felt quite jarring to see on that list people I knew here that have died some time ago.]

Update #2 - right now (21:34 Israel time) DNA is online as well. (once again, I got a screencap)
