I think there will always be a space in my heart and on my bookshelf, the unsaid speeches the unwritten books

I hope they make HHGTTG into a movie, he would have liked that. The world lost a great man that day, a wonderful writer who could always lift my spirits.
I'll never forget the day I got the news. I was at home, at breakfast; my mother was reading the paper when she told me "That writer you like died. The 'Hitchhiker' guy."
I wore a black silk scarf for a week after his passing, and also the anniversary of his death. Here's to you, Douglas Adams
So long, and thanks for all the laughs.

STILL, every time I see the number fourty two, I'm a little distracted in thinking of DNA and have to point it out to everyone who's read the books, and inevitably explain it to those who haven't.

More than anything, I think I miss the words that he would have written.
Mostly Harmless so badly needed a sequel, or something... I always knew, "that can't be it," but in the end, that WAS it... and now the story will never be finished, and poor Arthur Dent never will find his way back to a cottage somewhere and have a really good cup of tea and get a bit of bloody luck for once and find Fenny again.
So here's to all the words that we were all waiting for, and that he'll never write for us. I'l always know in my heart that Arthur defied the old phrase and did go home again, and here's hoping you're wherever you want to be.

Well, I like to think so. Up to Mostly Harmless it was all in good fun, but after MH, I feel sorry for the poor bugger.

As long as there will be read books, the world will remember. And we will think of all that could have been...

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
