the battle begins on saturday 21st september at mid-day uk time aka gmt time. i advise u all go there now and begin setting up your base.

there is information about the ultimate world war zone where the battle is taking place at A815672. please read the rules and abide by them

only one person of your army needs to take part for your army to be involved in the battle, however, the battle will be a lot more fun if more people are involved.

if u r in mroe then one army, don't worry. u can decide who u want to fight for while u r there, and u can change part way through if u like, or u can even fight for both.

remember to have fun, and i hope to see u all there.

Don't worry. I updated the Zaphodista page with both numbers, and made sure to use the upper-case U on U46417. I don't know why it doesn't work with lower-case.

What's the overload scheme?

Personally, things are going well. My wife & I bought a house in October. No more apartments! No more learning all the lyrics to my neighbors' favorite music until four in the morning! A real lawn and possibly a garden! Tons of leaves to rake! Years of repairs and upkeep ahead of me. Ugh. Still well worth it.

And some of the doors have skeleton key locks which still work. Bonus!

You mean how is the Zaphodista movement going? A standstill. Or do you mean how is the "overload scheme" going? Can't answer until I remember what an "overload scheme" is.

Oops. I didn't mean that to sound glum when I said that the Zaphodista movement is at a stand-still. We have reactive moderation! Most of the original demands of the group and of the Petition are fulfilled by the return to reactive moderation. The only remaining point on the Petition is the ability to have external images in our guide entries. In that area, the community artists volunteer scheme is at least providing an outlet for desperate artists. I don't have a lot of personal enthusiasm for this problem of external images, but if someone else wants to mount a Zaphodista campaign to push for the ability to display external images, I wouldn't get in the way.

Ah good, glad to hear about your House, I'm waiting in for workmen to arrive at the moment.... Don't trust any of them, especially Double Glazing people, don't pay them a penny until all of the work has been completed!

Ah images..... Well I've put my thoughts on that down elsewhere on the Zaphodista pages...
