While I was trying to find a response, I had these two voices in my head saying:
Voice 1: We have no right to slaughter helpless animals, we aren't superior, that's just what we think!
Voice 2: If mankind ever had had to worry about killing animals, they would all have become vegans long ago. So worrying about it isn't natural!
V1: Oh yeah? Well, what is natural these days? I can look around for miles and see nothing that isn't heavily affected by mankind's meddling ...
V2: Hah, now you're straying from the topic...
V1: Oh, shut up, you heartless idiot ...
As you can see, I'm unable to form a clear answer, what with all the shouting inside my tortured skull.

Oh no. Now there's a third voice, saying basically that mankind should be wiped out so that the animals can live on in their natural way.
