Oops, sorry, Lance Henriksen, not Henrikson, misspelling my hero here. I see that he's a painter and a potter, also, that's interesting.

OK this is it! The Noosphere Paragraphs, another Willem masterpiece.

So, doing some spontaneous attempted learning here, smiley - rofl.

Noosphere, the realm of the mind! Somehow like an energy field, or a communication network? I see channels of energy, thoughtwaves.

So, it's not really like the concept of the Akashic Records, or Jung's Collective Unconscious? Or maybe its related. Hmm I see it somehow as more clear than these, like a pure energy field, essence, a distillation of thoughts, connecting minds.

The Omega Point! That's incredible! Paragraph two is so cosmic and illuminated, I could read it in the dark! I can hear it crackling. smiley - rofl

Ahh, I just pictured my Dad so clearly, he would tell us about the Omega Point, usually during the family supper, smiley - rofl, and I would love him so much, even though I didn't understand what on earth he was on about, haha, none of us did, but the words Omega Point became a very bright star for me smiley - star, just like these paragraphs are for me now.

Thankyouuuuuu Willem. smiley - kiss I'll let you know how I'm getting on!

And then there's the biosphere.

I'm currently reading The Cosmic Serpent by Jeremy Narby. Very amazing book, well I love it, even though my understanding is limited. It has a good energy, another glow in the dark book. smiley - rofl

Have you read it, Willem? It's a journey through the biosphere, but I think the noosphere as well, haha, via shamanic visions, snakes, the double helix and the language of DNA. And quite a lot of other things.

Hi Cactuscafé! The UFO show was in the seventies ... the original probably in the early seventies, the Afrikaans dub was in the mid- to late seventies. I was seven or eight or so when I saw the show.

I didn't know Lance Henriksen was painting and potting!

I'm happy you found the paragraphs interesting! Anyways, the Noosphere is not matter, or energy, or space, as we know it. It cannot be. It has to be composed of something different, something at present quite beyond scientific investigation. It is the substrate in which thoughts form, and sensations, and mental images, and all that stuff ... the substrate as well as the things that exist in it.

The Akashic Records, IF they exist, would be part of the Noosphere, and Jung's Collective Unconscious as well, again, supposing it exists. I do think these things must have some kind of reality.

That Cosmic Serpent book sounds very intriguing! I hope to be able to locate a copy ...

But I'm taking my own journeys through the biosphere! Today I was off to see the Sand River. As the name indicates, normally the river is full of nothing but sand. Only in exceptional rainy seasons does it actually flow with water. Well, we've been having exceptional rain recently, so today I set off to see if there was water in the river. And there was! I took some photos, and also saw some interesting critters in the environment. I'll see if I can get in a journal entry about it.

We are good in NC as long as the weather stays in the 70s. I think it is supposed to get colder but I hope they are wrong about that. I enjoyed your watery Sand River and I could feel the plants rejoicing.

I hope your friend in Canada got those lovely paintings of yours and I'm looking forward to your new Post entries coming up. I really like that colourful tree lizard coming up (the one that looks psychedelic)

heheh I like that, psychedelic sand lizards. smiley - rofl. It's in the 70s in NC? Nice!

Hullo Willem! I've been soooo dizzy fizzy, but off to Cornwall tomorrow with my niece, for a couple of days. We like to run around on the beach, I always chase her with a piece of seaweed, because she hates seaweed, meanie Aunty I am. haha. We're like a couple of springer spaniels, we see an open space and zooom! we're off.

The Sand River Journals are pending my attention. I like that, The Sand River Journals, it's poetic.

'It has to be composed of something different, something at present quite beyond scientific investigation. It is the substrate in which thoughts form, and sensations, and mental images ...... the substrate as well as the things that exist in it.'

Ahhhhh, delicious further mystery, I love this!! Substrate, that's a good word, I wonder what it means? Ah, I do love a mystery, beyond scientific investigation, this is just my kind of thing! Yes!

See you all in a few days.

Hi Elektra and Cactuscafé! My Canadian friend did get the paintings, I'm so happy about that! Now we have to figure out how he could pay me.

Hope the trip goes very well, Cactuscafé! So nice to be on the beach ... seaweed or not! I've last been to the beach about eight years ago, it was in southern Kwazulu-Natal, a lovely place.

smiley - goodluck on getting paid. Isn't there something like Western Union or possibly Barclays that could deliver the money into your bank account? Does your bank manager have any suggestions? In South Africa
can you bank at the Post office the way they do in European countries? That might be a way to go as well.

Yes! thanks! the beach was lovely, and it was sooo sunny, and we paddled and my feet went numb with cold, and there was a lot of seaweed, heheh, in fact I took a rather peculiar photo of a piece of seaweed, I'm quite proud of it, it's very seaweedy.

Glad the paintings made it to Canada, safely! Does your friend have a gallery, Willem, or are they for a private collection?

Hi folks! Elektra, we're working on the payment ... my sister has opened a Paypal account so if she can receive the money and pay me, it would work out fine!

Hi Cactuscafé! Sounds like you have a great holiday! My friend is just an ordinary citizen so my art will hang in his house.

Milla, very sorry to hear about your mum! I'll post something in the thread you started as well.
