My first comment would be that the title should reflect that this Entry concerns the band, as there was also an American daily comic strip called Blondie, and a blondie can be a dessert as well - ice cream over a "blond" (not chocolate) brownie.
I'll give it a good read in a bit... duty calls

Hello Bewilderingcazzaw.
Nice entry. Just one remark: you might want to include that Debbie Harry also enjoyed some success as a jazz singer in the late 1990s, performing with New York band the Jazz Passengers, and appearing on at least two of their albums.
