Does anyone know how to :-
a) get the babel fish from the dispenser without it flying into the hole.
b) after being sucked out of the Vogon hold and listening to the star drive what is your next move?
PLEASE help becasue I'm REALLY stuck.

This may seem like a dull question, but i've never heard of the HHGTTG game, and would like to now where i could get it, how much it costs, what system requirements its got, and how good it is.

I don't know where you can buy it I'm afraid but I play the text version which you can access on the comic relief website (there is a link on the Douglas Adams site. It's not interesting to look at but it exercises the imagination!

if i remember rightly, use an item you have to block the fish's escape route.

this puzzle reappers several times, each time you have to listen, smell or whatever until you find the right sense. i think in this case you have to go port, or n or something (its been a while and i still havent completed it yet, if you can get through the sliding door or get the 4thpiece of fluff let me know..) the game gets really good after the point you are at so stick at it...

I can do both... read the Guide's entry on intelligence, think about something Arthur likes a lot... also check out the gown pocket, the satchel, under the seat (I think) and... er... dunno.

Tip: search on the internet for a solution if you're *really* stuck... the internet *always* has solutions for any game, never let me down anyway...

to get the babel fish

- take off gown
- put gown on hook
- get all (when ford's asleep)
- put towel over drain
- put satchel in front of panel
- put mail on satchel
- press dispesner button
