h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Right, obviously I've figured out how to post a forum message, but how do I get entries in the guide? There doesn't seem to be any instructions for that. Please help cos you never know, I might have something interesting to say. Could happen.

In order to submit an entry, please go to the main "Don't Panic" page (via the eponymous button), and look for the link to "Frequently Asked Questions" - this should get you going.

I think the link to the FAQ should be right at the top of the page (preferably in "large, friendly letters ), so you don't have to read the whole page to find it.

the FAQ won't really get you sorted though will it - not unless you've already done what you're trying to do...

The reason the faq wont get you going
is because it tells you click a button on your
"my home" bit that says "add user page"
unless i am a complete tup boy....its not there
which leaves me to conclude that they have disabled it
temporarily to take some strain off the servers
as they are experiencing some overload?????

No - the feature isn't disabled - see my other posting. Once you've created at least one user page it will appear. Go to your journal and click 'new user page' once your done and return to your home page the bumf will be at the bottom...
