Gnomon - time to move on Posted Sep 17, 2007
When you say an error occurs, can you give us more details? What's the error message? Or if there is no message, what are the symptoms?

Does it look like this?
"We Apologise for the Inconvenience
The following error occurred: An unknown error has occurred"
which is what pops up every time I try to contact Duncan.<

Who is Duncan?

Duncan is a h2g2 researcher that Wandrin' Star is attempting to talk to.

What's the betting that the "Unknown Error" is on their Known Error List?

Traveller in Time not even checking
"It is a known issue this error to happen for Personal Spaces.
At least on my lists. Try a refresh or another browser. "

Yes, that happens to me every now and then. I just refresh a couple of times.

There are about five Duncans. As far as the 'error report' is concerned it seems to have righted itself.
Perhaps it is because I stupidly went and used someone else's computer. They only use AVG, which I don't think is so good.
No doubt, it will sort itself out eventually.
Have a nice day.

There may be about five Duncans, but the one that WS wants to talk to is the one I mentioned.

Who is WS?
I have changed my internet shield (or whatever it is called) hopefully that should make a difference with the bug report.

WS is Wand'rin Star U96784, the person who wanted to talk to Duncan.

() Sorry, I obviously shouldn't have got entangled in this. I was going to say that if the message DID look the same, then refreshing usually got rid of it.

ChiKiSpirit still hasn't told use anything about the error she is getting.

WS can talk to Duncan if he/she likes. I'm supposed to be writing about WT.

This:
The following error occurred: An unknown error has occurred

That error seems to happen more on Duncan's personal page than anywhere else. This might be a clue for Jim Lynn as to why it is happening.
