Sorry, this might be a stupid question, but it has been bothering me for a while. How is it possible that A412886, for example, could consist of one paragraph and credit nearly forty researchers?

I think it's because it's part of a university jobbie and everyone's been credited with everything. C817
Just a guess though. They might have taken one letter each or something.

One letter from each researcher - it'd be interesting, with hootoo researchers being what we are - to see what you'd end up with...

I believe they were all originally one collaborative entry (not a University project), credited to all Researchers who contributed, but they were added to and added to until it became necessary to split the entries. By that point in the proceedings it was too difficult to assign the correct Researchers' names to each individual entry, so everyone's name is on every Entry.
