At the bottom there's a link to Sgt Peppers on Wiki, when there's a perfectly fine h2g2 entry here: A823420
I would send an email to the BBC site people but they've never responded to these things in the past.

Well e-mail the italics, and ask them to ask someone in the Radio section of the Beeb to change the link.
And whilst we're looking at this page. Did you notice the link to h2g2 that's listed under the 'links within the BBC' section? Bottom righthand-side.

Yep, I noticed that, but it's a general '60s' link. The fact that they link to h2g2 there just makes the Wiki link seem even odder.
I've sent a comment to the Radio 2 site peeps.

Hello all,
Many apologies for the delay here. We often get this sort of query - the BBC's remit means that we *have* to link to other sites, as expressed as long ago as 2004 in the Graf Report (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/3866355.stm) which stated:
[The BBC's online services] must include more consistent and transparent links to all relevant commercial and public sources, and not only link to BBC pages.
We hope that helps explain why there will, necessarily, be links to other sites such as Wikipedia. However, we will continue to point potential links out to other sites, so please do continue to draw them to our attention.

ahh, that explains it more! Why use wiki though, it's a heap of pants. Why not use MSN Encarta or even just Google?

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Sep 5, 2007
It would be nice if there could have been two more h2g2 entries in the BBC links section to match the three Wikipedia articles in the external links section, but do we have entries on those subjects? Or other suitable entries to augment the BBC links section?
