Question: What goes "tick-tock" and has the names of the Tingite days on it?
Answer: Nothing, because you haven't yet made our clock!!

You're the warlord, you make the decision - is he to be hung or not?

We tried to do that once on the Underpass thread, but we were distracted by something shiney.

I can just imagine the scene. Russell Crowe (him off of Master and Commander) is helming the ship - all around him cannons are blazing, arms are being blowing off and there's a huge hole in the side of the ship leaking water.
Suddenly, a tap on his shoulder:
Thingite: (Chirpy) Excuse me, but have you done our clock yet?
Mr Crowe: What?
Thingite: Our clock. We've been waiting simply *ages*.
Mr Crowe: I'm fighting a battle here! Half my crew have gone and there's a strong wind coming from the east. And you're asking about a clock?
Thingite: Yessir. We've been really patient.
Mr Crowe: What does the clock do?
Thingite: It converts all the days of the week into the names we've chosen. Like Thursday is now 'Thing', Friday is-
Mr Crowe: (Impatiently) Will it help me run my ship better?
Thingite: Er, no.
Mr Crowe: Will it help us navigate the globe faster?
Thingite: Nope!
Mr Crowe: Then what good is it?
Thingite: (Proudly) It will make us happy!
Russell Crowe smiles... then chucks the Thingite overboard.

(In other words, I'm in the office on my own and writing that little sketch to hopefully make you laugh will save more time in the long run than just saying 'it ain't gonna happen'.)
(Or, alternatively - ask on the Hub).
