If anyone needs somewhere to stay for the meet let us know..apart from you Magwitch, we're already warming a spot in the shed for you

Might do, might not. It depends if I can get my ugly butt into gear and attend.
NB : Probably not, I live in Redhill, which isn't too much further than Croydon. Unless, like my brother has in the past, I fall asleep 'cos of being drunk, and wake just up as the train pulls into Southampton. (He was, of course, on the last train of the night)

Ok but you have to be nice to Ged
And put up with 3 extremely drunken women (me Genie and J)demanding oven chips at 5am

I think I know exactly what to do with three drunken women, thank you very much.
And since when have I ever not been nice to Ged? I assume the 'being nice' bit need not extend as far as your son.

It wasn't you who said he was the most boring man alive then? Genie just calls him a rude word beginning with C all in jest of course
Josh is now 5ft tall, 9 stone and kicks rather hard so it's up to you whether to be nice to him or not though he tends to prefer to bore people to death with his current obsession with Egyptian history than use violence..after the 200th 'did you know that..' death seems quite welcome

Hooray. You've turned him into a geek! He'll be needing a hootoo account soon.

Does your withdrawal mean I need to start looking for alternative accommodation?

no don't worry..Ged will still come along after he finishes work to meet you.

Good, good.
Can I also have Friday night on the sofa, as per usual?
And a repeat of Genie's brilliant directions might be necessary too.

Yeah thats fine. I may still come along, will depend on how I'm feeling on the day.
I'll ask Genie about the directions but she's being blonder than usual at the mo and will be shacked up in a hotel somewhere with a squaddie that weekend

As far as I know no one else is staying saturday so you can take Josh's room.. its more comfy than the sofa and definitely quieter..the rattys make a fair bit of noise at night.
