We re-opened the old agrument on Monday night at ventures about whether you have 'lemon and sugar' on them or 'sugar and lemon'.
I remain highly comfuzled at this and was even more in the state of confusion when someone said why not just have syrup! They obviously didn't understand the significance of their comment when everyone turned and screemed NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! really loudly.
Can anyone help?

Well, I put butter on, moving a knob of butter around until it melts. Next, I sprinkly sugar over. Finally I add the lemon. I don't put the lemon on before the sugar as then it goes yucky with the butter.
So, I have butter and sugar and lemon.

What's that got to do with anything? (apart from the current conversation?)

The best thing I find is my tongue - the bit that does the tasting.
