I'd just like... ooo, even 1/250th of her success, that should see me along quite nicely

Thanks indeed... I think my boy has excellent taste too --- case in point - he really likes having me as a Dad... (Need I say more? )
I agree with your transition to discworld... However, I truly think that to fully appreciate pratchett's perfect pan-dimentional party you first need to have read a whole heap of really excruciatingly bad sword & scorcery fantasy.... I don't have the heart to inflict such pain and mental damage on my Son, just yet!

I've always particularly enjoyed "The Last Continent"
And I agree, your son sounds awfully intelligent. My younger son is about his age, and he's not ready for anything of the sort yet. Even my older son would find Harry Potter a bit of a hard read.

Who pulled the tartan over my eyes!
Hiya SMoB! Hope all is well. Do the tree leaves change colors down there this time of year or is it just these contacts Shea fitted me with?

elwood's a cowboy? How
Who does that make me, I wonder? I know... the girl that gets tied up on the railway tracks yelling ha-elp! ha-elp! As a train speeds towards her!
Who will rescue our dashing heroine? (Or in this case, our 'lying down yelling ha-elp and generally twiddling thumbs heroine')
