It's a purely aesthetic thing, they don't *actually* go through a bog of any kind!
Not necessarily, anyway...

I don't eat 'em anyway.
But, a bog log! Sounds like something you'd need a for!

I meant chocolate bars in general... which I connected to chocolate in general... which I connected to Easter... and hence given that it's coming up to Easter, though I don't generally have chocolate bars, it's a good time to eat chocolate in any form.
I realise I may have left a step or 17 out in that chain of reasoning

I forgot all about easter...
and had to run around at the last minute on Saturday night trying to make up an easter basket for my wee boy....
and I messed up the movie (I meant to pick up the HP chamber of secrets, but my hand slipped, the lights flickered, a bad man ran up and changed the contents of my shopping cart, and I went home with the "sorcerers stone" (philosophers stone for the educamated)).
My wee boy is a gem, though... he accepts that his old dad is a numpty, and forgave me.. I nearly cried.
oh... and we had some Cadbury's creme eggs... yum

The HP books are lots better... although incredibly derivative. I've had to read them (twice) to my son. They were good for 'bedtime stories', because they do rattle along (mostly) in a very episodic way... reminded me of the old serials we used to watch at the ABC Minors on a Saturday morning (before Saturday became kid-day on TV)
He's now working his way through them himself (at seven - obviously hugely intelligent)...

I'm looking forward to the time when I can move from Dr.Suess to Harry Potter for bedtime reading. (Though I absolutly love Dr.Suess so don't jump all over me SuessFans)

I love Harry Potter.
But king, I was a fan before it became a phenomenon. Her characterisation is excellent.

elwood, the better jump is when you can go from harry potter to discworld for bedtime stories
and i loved harry potter too, before it was the 'next big thing'. mom is an elementary school librarian and received a copy from the publisher when it first came out. she liked it so much she loaned it to me and my sister, and now we're all hooked. kingy's just missing out.
and scotsman, your son is not only very bright, he has excellent taste too
