been slowing down a bit since the first of the year... the calm before the storm 
and i'm enjoying a nice quiet day at work, but i'm missing the beautiful weather we're having because i'm stuck in an office.

yes, and tomorrow as well. i don't mind working the weekends, tho. everyone else is off and it's so quiet i can play on h2g2 all day
my schedule rotates so that i work four days, then i get four days off. after tomorrow i don't come back to work until friday. so about every other month i work weekends, but then on opposing months i have them off. it's a wonderful schedule! i actually work a part time job as well on some of my off days, and i still have loads of time off. it makes it easier to go out of town for the weekend without having to take vacation time off work.

Speaking of time - at 20:02 on Wednesday night (the 20th of the 2nd) the time/date will be in a perfect palindrome: 20:02 20/02 2002. Won't happen again until 21:12!

Nothing wrong with Palindromes...Just think of the fuss there's going to be once we get near U200000; there'll be so many going for that, and just think of the lovely palindromes that are up for grabs, especially 199991 and 200002
