So what has happened to the misc chat link on this page?

We decided to take it off, because the MiscChat forum is not exactly what h2g2 is about - so anyone going there for a chat isn't going to be as elucidated as those who go to, say, Ask h2g2, which is fantastic.
It tends to be where we move extremely off-topic Conversations to, but it's not somewhere we really want to direct people to, to be honest.

doing more work i see. i understand where your coming form there but now i have no way of getting to the misc. forum(mainly because i'm stupid and need to be hearded like a sheep). and so how am i gonna advertise ur fan club without putting cheap links in like this one which gets on everyone's nerves. here comes the link

I don't kown its not the great place it used to be, becomming a part of the bbc's website is a major part, it just doesn't seem so good

i must agree that bing owned by the BBC has kinda changed things round here but i still think it's a great place. And a wonderful source of knowledge. I don't think u can say it's got worse, diffrent maybe but not worse.
i think prehaps this is a case for MR M. Moxon to handle. "OH MR MOXON", i'm the founder of his fan club ya see. i have links
