It's autumn and everything goes wrong
Hati Started conversation Sep 1, 2009
It has been cold for couple weeks now. Cold enough to wear socks, so bad enough for me. Right now it seems to be 16C.
I've got cold. I never understood how headcold and weather are related. I think I got my cold sitting on the terrace of the summerhouse and waiting for my mother coming home from a party. After all those years when she was waiting for me the table has turned now. Well, she came 3 hours late.
So I have cold, everything tastes like rubber and there no point in tasting anything anyway since I can't swallow. Just to make the world perfect I just managed to bite my tongue. Perfect bite, blood bursting out. So my tongue is swollen and bleeding. I think I want to be a snake. Subconsciously.
The school year started here today. I am sure my son will come home with a shopping list longer than my arm. Or his arm, that's even longer.
My daughter went to school as well. SHe will take her list to her own home. That's sort of a relief.
I must go and change the page in all my calendars.

It really is infuriating, waiting for one's mother to come home from a party... I think it's just their way of getting some sort of revenge.

She said (looking innocent, yet guilty) that the party turned out to be better than she had expected.

Try icecream for the tongue, that will help stop the bleeding and reduce the swelling, and will also make your throat feel less swollen

Ice cream sounds good.
My mother... was taken to town. Can't leave her unattended in the summerhouse.

Negative and negative gives positive, so ice cream should be a good cure.

.. so you'll have ( no ( no ice cream ) )
.. that means you can stuff yourself with ice, but does it mean it's good for a cold as well?

Helps bring down temperature as well in case you have fever. Never actually heard of icecream doing any harm, cold or no cold.
