Hati's X-mas
Hati Started conversation Dec 24, 2006
I slept late today to wake up lazily sipping and having a ===
~~~. It’s nice to do nothing at home where the room is warm, everything smells like
. Kids were behaving nice and helpful, noone nagged at anyone, everything was just okay. There was good program on tv and since I didn’t have much to do I spent half the day following it. I called my friends and relatives to wish them merry x-mas.
*sighs*
Probably I could go on like this. Or maybe not. It was all my day was *not* today. I had a bad day and I wish I didn’t wake up in the morning.
Merry Christmas, everybody.
And a very Merry Christmas to you, too!
Just came home after seeing my Mother off in a taxi - which felt nice, knowing that she didn't have to drive herself - and is on my way to .
lazily wags his tail (yes, can happen
) - chewing on a Christmas bone
Well, since I am at it anyway:
Ethiopia is bombing Somalia, the airport in Mogadishu.
War is spreading in North Caucasus - besides Chechnya and it's quite armed neighbours Ingushetia and Dagestan now Karachay-Cherkessia is joining in. Street battles are going on in their capital between army and assumably some muslim group.
In Indonesia - Aceh and North Sumatra people are dying in floods. At least 80 are dead already and many are lost.
James Brown died today.
Japan executed 4 convicted murderers.
In Bulgaria Christmas lights were put off to show up the solidarity to 4 nurses who were sentenced to death in Libya.
And then fire accidents, traffic accidents, peace on earth and good will to men. for following out news program.
it is Christmas so even if you were neighbour it would be fine. you might even then hide with me if the kids were annoying.
Merry Christmas Hati.
World news is grim any time of the year. I suppose the fact that we can make merry in spite of it proves the resilance of the human character. Perhaps it will make people think about the real meaning of Christmas, which to me is the message that people should live in peace as brothers.
I am having my mother and some of my cousins for lunch today. That is all the celebrating I'm doing.
Yeah, the news are all the same, it's just there was no other news whatsoever in the news portal at that moment. By now I already know that Georgia is going to buy gas from Turkey and thta Castro has a Spanish surgeon and that Germany cancelled any help to Sri Lanka.
I'll go to visit my brother's family today with my son and .
and such. My place doesn't smell like x-mas at all.
Yeah, and then baking x-mas muffins I stumbled on my dog and fell with my hand on the stove. 1/3 of my palm is burnt and hurts like hell. This x-mas gets only merrier.
Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Dec 25, 2006
i had a fairly nice xmas with my ex, my kids and my ex-mum. but it was ever so good to come home again, kick of the shoes and pour the first
then i went to the office to do write a small article, trying to make fun of people who boast about posh relations, that they may or may not have, using my own family as an example, of course
i am not really satisfied with it, but it will have to do
and i haven't payed any attention whatsoever to world news. the few news i got from the bulletin boards of local and national newspapers yesterday were more than enough
