Responding to your Royal Invitation
Sad, Mad or Bad? - I always wanted to be a dino, but alas, I'm just old. Started conversation Jan 5, 2001
Here I am! And how can I serve your majesties?
I see the Court Jester has been taken. I don't suppose you need a royal squalling brat? I could make lots of noise, and lots of trouble for everyone, and get dirty, and make a pet of one of the crocodiles, and periodically get lost, requiring large search parties to be assembled to find me. I could have a really elaborate name too: Princess Sasquash Lavendar Rose
BUT if you don't need a squalling brat, I shall come up with something else! Like um... ooooooooooooh, the Palace Ghost! And I could have a really spiffy name for THAT too, like 'The Shy Ghoul' or something. I could haunt the forums!

*Royal butler Thruthelthrolth pokes his slighty balding and grey-haired head around the door*
Sire, I believe the staff, and probably the elves too, would be much happier with the latter option.

Hee, a ghost WOULD be much more fun.
OK, so 'The Shy Ghoul' isn't quite the name I'm after. How about.... 'The Fearsome Phantom'?

Not to seem precious, but the Great Cthulhu is generally considered a pretty scary guy already, so you might have to scare people less conventionally...;-Þ

Can I live in your dungeons, my queen?
Hm, right, the 'jump out and scare people' thing might need revision. Lessee....
How about following them around and then stopping when they look around so that I'm always just a step behind them, but never seeming to move.
Whoooooooooooooooo! (Obligatory scary exclamation)

Whoooooooooooo!
I'll have to go get my things.
*Curtseys for queen*
*Floats a little behind the king in the hope he'll turn around*
