Slushies for all!
(I'd be throwing but we're getting TOO MUCH rain! )
I have to love living in the midwest, though -
The week before Christmas it was cold, average high temp about 10F.
Christmas day we were predicted a high of about 20F, it got up to about 33.
The whole week between Christmas and New Year we averaged (highs and lows) 50 to 65F, one day it was in the 70s
Now it's cooling off again, it was in the 30s last night, but stayed above freezing so we didn't get the two inches of ice that KC got.
It's supposed to freeze tonight, which should prove to be a mess with all the rain we've gotten (total so far 3-4 inches - that would have been about THREE FEET of snow!)
But it will be back in the 50s again for the weekend
Maybe I should retitle this thread 'The Weather Report from St Louie'

I'm cold. It's almost 20F outside. (Feels like it's almost 30F in here!)
I'm debating whether or not I should clean my office today. Sounds entirely too much like work...

In a moment of weakness I broke down and swept yesterday.
My desk is still very untidy, though!

You are in Broe's Countdown Forum - officially 23 days to go!
broelan Posted Mar 29, 2005
Fred! It's been AGES!! You should certainly stop by more often!
Bob! (didn't recognise you at first, there ) Anyone's welcome anytime! Unfortunately we don't have badges and titles, but as Pierce points out, there is at least one badger, and there's always plenty of snowballs!
Love you too, Pierce!
I think the countdown is finally on. Official guesstimates give me 23 days (21 April), but a few members of the immediate family have money on the 14th (my birthday). Anyone who wants to wager a guess is welcome, of course.
