Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~

...for the elderly and beautiful" is now officially a must see.
Judi Dench and Maggie Smith - it doesn't get much better!
And these are only two of magnificent and well aged actors gathered for your entertainment.
The young ones are pretty good as well

Never mind the old ladies, Pierce. This old crumbly finds Dev Patel absolutely smiley - drool and, having seen the trailer, I'm going to watch it for him!

The trailer also shows that he can act well enough to hold his own. And he's up against Tom Wilkinson and Bill Nighy, as well as Dame Judy and Maggie.

There's a big poster advertising its imminent arrival in the lobby of the community theater I often go to. It's not as if I could forget that it's coming.smiley - tongueout

Last Autumn, some posters were talking about a film called "Pirates," a production by the same people who gave us the Wallace and Grommit films. "Pirates" still hasn't opened in the U.S., though it's being advertised in the coming attractions trailers.

Given that the film won't open for another six or seven weeks here,
chances are this thread will be as forgotten as President Tyler by the time I get to see the film. All too often, I find that threads move so fast that posts I could have responded to have moved far down the line by the time I get to them -- all in the space of five hours, which is the difference in time zones between London and Massachusetts.

Then again, this thread is currently about the one film. If people can resist the urge to bring in clowns, acrobats, belly-dancers, the situation in Nairobi, and assorted political races, I'll be able to make my posts about the film when the time comes.
