I've crossed over; I tink. wot is going on here? Hey if your signed in to iPlayer do you get to see the programs cos some are really good..like 'Being Human'.
I don't know what we would do without the BBC, normally I would say offhand without thought 99% crap and 1% fantastic; but actually it is only roughly 75% crap and 25% exceptional ground breaking shit no-one can keep up with.
SAVE the BBC and I hope iPlayer is made available to you, to see programs in arrears cos I pay a license fee for that and happy to do it.
That is of course conditional on the BBC setting the benchmark as they do at the moment.

I understood that we don't have to do anything necessarily, as long as our name isn't too long and we were logged on at least once in the past 6 months.
But I shall use Gnomon's guide if we do ever have to make our own way. I use i-Player a lot, but we can only get radio outside the UK.

You're joking. It's pages long! So do I actively have to do anything or not? If yes, then I'll just follow Gnomon's instructions.

Oh - and I did follow that thread at first, which made me come to the conclusion that I don't have to do anything unless my name is too long or I haven't been on the site for more than 6 months.

I think it means there is a transition period where those that have used the site in the last 8 months or something can register with BBC iD; and will continue to be able to use the service.
Those that haven't will not even be able to register and will lose membership.
So register.

Those of us who make it successfully across to the other side will try to make the place so much fun that everyone else will want to sign up however they can...

Well, I did what he said. It didn't work out like he said it would, but I got there somehow.

I still have an old account that I forget the username and password for. I wouldn't mind letting it just expire, but it has the same email address as my main account.
