It is my birthday today! I've finally made the half century, that number which the Romans commemorated as 'L'. Mrs G has organised a lunch for me with the family - she didn't want me staying up too late, as I'm getting up at 4 tomorrow morning to go to the h2g2 Mannheim Meet.
The sun is shining, the guinea pigs are on the lawn, and I'll pretend that the builders, who are starting on Monday, didn't leave a whole load of building stuff on the lawn too.

I missed this journal until now, but at least I could give my birthday wishes in person.
I was lost with the unknown and loudly (in my right ear) shouted text of the song, though.
