I'm just blue, bored and lonely. And Titanias latest journal makes my hypochondrically hypothyreoditic. Kids are with their dad again, and I can't pull my self together and do something.
I could pull out the quilt of course and put some pieces together, but I can't be bothered.

I don't know anything about Titania's journal, but I know that when I'm , all I want to do is curl up on the sofa, drag the blanket over my head and sleep.

Something to eat, followed by a nice sleep, may be what you need..A hot bath may also relax you and help you to ....

Milla, I used to feel the same when my kids had gone too. Have a drink of water, something to eat, and try and think of a treat you can give yourself. Sleep if you need to, but beware, sleep can be a sign of depression and too much will make you feel worse.
Or do something you have meant to do for ages that will make you feel good about yourself and that the time has been well spent.
Failing that come back and talk to us I shall be around most of the evening.

I'm still online, browsing all the photos from the musical productions I was part of (linky on my page ) while the virus and spy programs are trying to clean up. Hope they don't find much.
I will get something to eat and drink. And a bath sounds lovely.

Milla, I have just quickly looked at the link you mentioned...It is amazing!!!And Lovely too. Is there an English translation anywhere, or is it possible to have the article written in English??...I am not a creative type of person, more a technical fellow, but I love and appreciate creativity.......

Sorry 'bout the Swedish... I can't offer anything else, but if you are a techy dude, there must be some hilarity to be found in online translation machinery
It is a favourite thing of mine, musicals...
Off you go to explore Blackberry Boogie now!

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Oct 8, 2007
Definitely start by eating something first - your blood sugar might be low.
I once tried being in Paris (France) after having missed my train due to incorrect instructions. I had spent most of the night awake, crowded in a train compartment with two people and several very big drums, no breakfast, and then missing my train was the straw that broke the camel's back - I decided to just give it all up and slumped down on a bench intending to stay there for the rest of my life. Oh, and my French sucks, by the way.
Well, my tummy wouldn't have anything of it and started growling louder and louder. Sulking, I digged in my bag, found half a bag of Gott & Blandat (Swedish candy) and promptly ate it all.
Well, you know what? Of course my blood sugar went haywire, so I decided enough is enough, got up, took the tube to the proper railway station, found out when the next train left (several hours later), and went in search of some *real* food.
And a bath sounds like a splendid idea...
Got any dark at home? Maybe a glass of ? Too bad it's too early for glögg

btw..I know that most of you in the Northern Hemisphere believe that we Aussies are uncouth, uncivilised and barbaric...but we do like to have a drink or two or two thousand.... So, what sort of alcoholic drinks are Volvo and Ikea????............
Blue
Milla, h2g2 Operations Posted Oct 8, 2007
Volvo means I roll, which is what you do when you drink too much vodka. IKEA would be 'wood alcohol' methanol... as leftovers from the furniture factories round the world.
Glögg... I have to search the entries for that, it's come up in so many convo's here, there must be one! But think red wine, heated with spices and some orange peel - cinnamon, cardamom, probably some more.
I indeed had a glass of and cheese, and too many crackers, instead of a nutritious dinner. But I thought what the .
And I do feel better!
Now to wait for the little ones coming back home for bedtime.

It seems I've arrived a little too late for this to be of any particular use, but you can have it anyway:
