h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi, I'm Tom and I'm 20 years old.

I'm interested in forming/ joining a band with similar interests to me, either seriously or just to improve skill and gain experience.

I'm looking mainly for the traditional 4- piece rock band (Guitar, drums, vocals, bass), but to be honest I wouldn't say no to working with other instruments- I love the sound of the harmonica and sax in rock and roll, and I'm very inquisitive- who knows what works if you don't try? So whatever instrument you play, at whatever level of ability, then get touch if you're interested and nearby.

I'm not against fans of different genres either- my main influence is rock based, but I do have a wide range of tastes, so get in touch.

I play guitar and I'm looking for people in either the Leicester Uni area, or in the Kettering/ Corby area in Northamptonshire.

Influences include Queen (fave band), David Bowie, T Rex, Rolling Stones, Jeff Buckley, The Beatles, Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin, Mott The Hoople, Buddy Holly, most classic Rock, rock and roll and loads of other stuff...
