A Conversation for Alcohol

Alcohol. Effects

The effects of alcohol are as varied as can be
some will be happy some will be sad.
some will sit quietly in the corner others will dance naked on the bar.
some will stand up and start singing "i did it my way" (may the god of alcohol prevent us from drunk singers)
some will shout for another drink. (these people are so much better)
there are those who enjoy seeing their dinner twice on the same night.
personnaly i can do without that part, i think my dinner should come out only one way!
some will laugh at jokes that if u heard them sober u would have started crying.
others will cry when u'll tell them that they just finish ur last bottle of sambuka.

more can be said.....so say it!!!

a wise man said:
"The amount of money you have in your pocket is never enough to get you drunk"

One of the effects that have not yet been mentioned is the swimming effect. This is not, as you may first think, the effect of that dizzy, swimming feeling in your head, oh no! I'm talking about the alchoholic effect of making me feel I can swim many miles. I don't know why this is the case because I can bearly manage a slow dog paddle normally but after a few nippy sweeties I'm like Mark Spitz (to those of you who aren't old enough, he was a great American swimmer in the 1976 Olympics). Are there any other strange alchoholic effects that I have yet to find out about?

You seem to be a bit of an expert on the subject so here is my question.

On the morning after you have par-takin of a few nippy sweeties.
An you feel as though you were turned insideout and left out to dry.

You would like nothing more than take it up again another nippy sweeties.
So why O why do they call it the hair of the dog?

It's short for 'hair of the dog that bit you'- the idea being that a little bit of what poisioned you will cure you.

Another saying, attributed to the Spanish when I read it:

"Two drinks is too many, three is not enough."
