Wow, I wish I was an artist!
You guys are great! *applauds for a while, then decides it's way too cold to be doing such a thing, and tries to warm her hands* I think I need a , but I need to be on my way... anyone mind giving me one for the road?

anne girl- you CAN be an artist! all you need to do is picture the thing you want to make, then think about how it could be made with punctuation, letters, even the occasional smiley. it usually takes a few tries to get it exatly right and is ALWAYS a good idea to preveiw before you post, but it is rewarding.
ox- now there's an idea! i think i will do a

that should do it.
to any artists out there: if you have a / or a \ at the end of a line, put a space after it.

Most effective, MG...we are now rocket-ready. We should build a bar in the nosecone and open a bed and breakfast in the mid-section.

Later, maybe.
Have you ever noticed that Procrastinators have the best ideas? We need minions to actually carry them out while we think up new brilliant ideas. That way we wouldn't have to put anything off.
Basically, (if you'll excuse me getting back to the Procrastinator's subject, even though you probably can't concentrate after all those bottles) Procrastinators must be really intelligent people. Because of the good ideas. It's only them that stop you carrying out the idea you just had, which was, in its way, brilliant, but the execution of it might be a tad tedious.
For my references see all my "things to do" in my journal on my home page

Very true, Trillian's Child...I've been meaning to embellish my page and write a guide entry and keep my journal and...
Well, now you know why I qualify for this club.

hmmmm, yes. that must be true for this/ these(i'm not quite sure how many there are yet) reason(s)
1. we need to be creative to think up exus...*ahem*....reasons to avoid doing things right this second, and to think up things to be doing instead
2. since we are more likely to be doing things we enjoy, we are less stressed, furthering the creative process.
3. our brains have to be bigger to hold all the things we are supposed to be doing.
4. we have more free time to be doing these creative things. ie, making this list.

ATTENTION:
i have now made an entry, forum art. it contains all of my forum art from here. to all of you, but especially Goshoogosh, if you want your artwork there, copy and paste into the forum i posted mine in.(since i'm not sure which ones you would want there)

It's my h2g2 duty as Muse of Putting Things Off Until Another Time to strongly urge you all to visit Minesweep Goddess's forum art... er, forum. It's a hoot, and yet another reason for procrastination And I definately agree with you MG about the stress thing - we're not always running around like headless chickens trying to do 101 things at once. B*****ks to that. I foresee a long and peaceful life for all of us
Does all this rocketry mean that we're now part of the space-race? Given what Trillian's Child just wrote, perhaps space-thinking-about-maybe-getting-someone-else-to-do-the-race is more like it.
And your references are excellent TC, you are a full-fledged member of this society, with all the associated powers and privileges, like making forum art, complaining to the h2g2 team about the lack of a tea smiley, and a key to the drinks cabinet at The Palace Flophouse and Grill

Thank you. Can you settle an argument? Bossel and I are not sure which of us was first in to this Society. Daft thing to argue about, and I am not sure if it matters which one of us was first, or if it's not more to the other's credit to have put off joining until a later date.... I claim to have been the first, because I recommended it to him!

Hmm, it looks as if you were here first TC - your first post is marked 'last week', but Bossel's is '5 days ago'.
We have several new members who I hope will all be joining us in the new thread I just created for The Palace Flophouse and Grill. One day I might even get around to making a whole new entry for it

See you in the new thread... later!

Yeah I know.... what a twit
Everybody who reads this thread should pick up their armchairs and carry them across to the new thread..... over there *points in a vague direction*. Go on, you know you want to

You can call me TC Posted Dec 22, 2000
As the direction varies depending on whether you view in Goo or Alabaster, this time vagueness is justified.
Ottox - how do you pronounce your Christmas greeting?
The Palace Flophouse and Grill is officially open
Ottox Posted Dec 23, 2000
Glædelig jul = Merry Christmas
æ = ä
Pronounced not totally unlike this...
Glæ ~ *GLE*n
de ~ *THE*
lig ~ *LI*ck
jul = YULE (but short, glottal stop)
Key: Complain about this post
