Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Sep 8, 2000
*floating in, in haste*
Pandora, I overheard your alarm call at the pub, what's wrong?
*sees Greebo*
Good heavens!
Is there anything I can do?

(Stumbles in...)
(Sees nothing)
(Reaches out like a blind man trying to find a black cat in a dark room... hoping to find something soft and round, but finding nothing...)
(... stumbles out.)
The stumble bum, having stubbed his toe painfully, stumbles on....

"Titania!!! thank good ness you're here!!! Poor Greebo has something *whispers...two live bugs* crawling on her pretty lil'
head!!! The Doc seems to be in his cups! I don't know what to do!! *rocks Greebo in her arms* You could be of major help & see if you could get that one deepest claw out of my back. *as Pan turns Titania is starteled by all the blood running down Pandora's back* She's so scared! Poor thing! I gave Doc ten thousand dollars yesterday...I'd think he could help - with me screaming my head off! *shh, Greebs, it's okay Honey, Sweetie,
Pretty girl!!! Relax & Pan will see that all's taken care of & now Titania is here too* Would you please fly into the back room & see what's taking him so long? I'm exhausted! Thanks Deary."

~Greebo's panicked cries become even louder... she struggles furiously in Pandora's arms...~

Pandora Posted Sep 9, 2000
"Greebo. Please...believe me, this is going to hurt ME way more than you! And if the Doc dosen't show up soon...I'll do the tick-ecktomy myself!" *starts looking around for some sort of heating thingy to burn theose little buggers with* "Listen to me Greebo.
All I have to do is touch those bugs with something hot & they will fall off. But off they MUST come! They could make you sick Sweetie!" *starts to sing a song about Don Gotto...that cat song.
singing vey sweetly Greebo stops struggeling so she can hear the words. As Pan sings Greebo is looking right into Pandora's eyes. she dosen't see Titania...Titania flutters above Greebo holding a lit candle (who knows where it came from?) as Pan sings softer, Greebo is very still now, in ordr to hear: on a high red roof Don Gotto sat, he went there to read a letter meow-meow-meow...where the reading light was better meow-meow-meow, was a love letter for Don (Titania touches the 1st tick with the fire, it dies & falls to the floor) Gotto...Greebo starts to turn...
Pan rocks her & even softer now: He got so excited meow-meow-me...Titania touches the other nasty tick & it falls dead to the floor! * "Greebo sweetie? It's ALL over! Titania has removed those nasty ticks without you feeling a thing!!! Way to go TT!!!"
*Greebo looks up & sees Titania blowing out a wee candle*
"Whaa? Me was too scared!!! Is me okay??? Me wans ta' go home!!!" *Pandora takes Greebo over to the bench & sits her down* "See? All better! Just wait 'til I get my hands on that Vet!
Tatania, I couldn't have done it without you! How 'bout we take Greebo to the Pub for a big glass of milk & all the dounuts she can eat?!? Would greebo like that then?" *winks at Titania as she flutters out the door* "Come on Greebs, do you still want me to carry you? Or are you ready to walk on your own?" * Pan & Greebo start out the door on the way to the Pub the whole time Pandora is telling a wide eyed Greebo how brave she was & what a good girl she is & the ticks wern't her fault* "Oh Greebs, I'm so happy this turned out like it did!" *Pandora is ignoring the pain in her shoulder & back from G.'s claws* "Want me to sing the rest of the cat song? Ready for some nice milk?"

~Greebo grins at Pandora...~
Sorry about scratching you... and would you please sing me the rest of the song as we walk along?

Pandora Posted Sep 9, 2000
"Don't give it another thought. I'm just glad you're all right!"
*Pan picks up Greebo & sings the song from the begining all the way to the Pub*

Sorry, been away for weekend (IRL), and my other half has just slipped a disc (IRL), so not had much time to oversee my vets practise. Looks like you managed to sort out the tick problem very well indeed - hope GTC is cool & groovy now

Bluebottle Posted Jan 6, 2001
Hi - I came here as I'm new to the village and thinking about getting a cat, and was wondering if any of you could give me some advice.
So far, I've learnt from Greebo NOT to take a cat to the vets.
