Ah yes, I remember them fondly - keeping warm in moist towels, in a pan on the running engine of a parked 1968 Chevy and being hawked by a couple of mexican kids with mom nearby rocking the baby.
Did you know that Green Corn Tamales are indiginous only to Sonora Mexico and the southern half of Arizona? Go to any Mexican restaurant outsid of that area and ask if "they ever have' green corn tamales and they will respond with a blank stare. I found this out after leaving So Az while trying to seek a recipe for doing them myself. I did and they made a big hit.
