There are some key pieces missing from this article:
Flanders and Swann's early material written for the revues of Laurier Lister et al, were released on an LP by EMI, known as And Then We Wrote...
It is incredibly rare, but not so rare that I haven't managed to acquire 2 mint condition copies, one of which I am attempting to sell.
Also, Swann later did a 2 part documentary about Tolkien for radio4, featuring explorations of the plot and characters in lotrd of the rings, interviews with the great man's family, and accompanied by Swann's own exquisite renderings of Tolkien's verse, and some he wrote himself too.
I'll try and write a more up to date entry at some point but my mind isn't at its mopst eloquent right now
