The milk that doth not goeth off

Remember that everlasting carton of in my fridge a while back? Well now I've got one of This one is a little more though because I swear that when I put my nose to the opening about a week ago, said milk was on the point of turning. I made some pancakes with it and put it back in the fridge thinking I might get one more day's worth of use out of it, and then forgot about it until a few days ago when I was making some mash. I - tentatively - took a whiff of the contents... fresh as a daisy So I added a good splash of it to my spuds and put it back in the fridge. And I've just done exactly the same thing because it's still fine. This carton of milk (organic I might add) has been open for more than two weeks.
Guess who's having pancakes again tonight

Are you sure you didn't throw the bad stuff out and buy more when you were too pissed to remember it?

I never smell test milk. If it's anywhere near it's expo date it's gone. I got half pint of chocolate milk in elementary school with my lunch that made me lose my breakfast. Went to take a sip and got large curd brown cottage cheese in my mouth.
I never actually buy milk anymore, so it's not an issue.

You don't use milk in any drinks or cookery?

Nope... the only thing I eat at the house is Bachelor Chow(tm)*. You know, the stuff with microwave instructions on the packaging.
*as seen on Futurama. Now with flavor!

I've started buying those potatoes in a plastic wrapper that are ready for the microwave. Makes Sunday night meals easier. Pop one in, re-heat some roast or cut up some lunch meat, add a little cheese & sour cream and call it dinner. I'm so ashamed.

You jolly well should be
I hate cooking, but I get around it by making dishes that last a few days, like stews, casseroles etc, and if I boil spuds I also cook enough to last two or three days, then nuke them on following days. I buy organic frozen veg which only needs a few moments in boiling water, and I make liberal use of Amy's organic pot pies (nuke for five minutes, or 35 minutes in the toaster oven).
And I go out to eat once or twice a week

Er, it's still okay by the way. I used it in some mashed spuds this evening.

You're a braver man than me !
You are sure it's milk aren't you ? Not some other white liquid of similar consistency ?

I just want to know if the mashed spuds ended up looking like the Virgin Mary.
Was/is this stuff pasteurized*, filtered, organic or nuked?
* or just up to your chin (not that I would recommend a milk bath)

I bathe in asses (ass's?) milk every day... it's how I keep my youthful good looks
This is organic, whole milk, presumably pasteurised.
