Just wondering if it's possible to make it so that when you create a new entry, you will automatically be told when people leave messages on it. At the moment, this doesn't happen until I click on "Notify me when people leave a message...".

It's not a major problem, or even worthwhile to fix, it's just one of those niggly little things that make you suffer slightly.

Is it really that difficult to remember to click the notification link?

I'm not sure this is something we'd be looking to spend time developing, to be fair, as the solution to the problem is already only one click away.

I think it's something that MANY people wish for. And yes, it seems to be quite difficult to remember to click the link. Even *I* forget it sometimes!

Yes it is. I created loads of inividual catalogue pages for the Community Artists when logged in as U204560 and didn't remember to subscribe to any of them. Now I'm going to have to find the time to log back in as that identity and work my way through 17 Guide Entries.

Also many researchers - and not only newbies - actually think that they ARE notified automatically, and are surprised when they find out that they aren't.

I think it just makes sense.
