Despite the fact that I am logged in (and the system must know that I am - Link to 'Preferences' showing, etc), clicking on 'Preview Message' takes me to the 'Greetings unknown hiker' page as if I wasn't signed in (I signed in on another page).

Also, while I'm here, why is it that when I try to reply to a conversation for the first time, before signing in, I am taken away from that conversation to sign in, sent to my home page, and then have to search around again for the thread I wish to contribute to? This is most annoying!

I've done the changes to the Entry, but I can't help with your log-in problems

I don't know the solution to the login problems. You should report them at Feedback / Technical. I don't know whether the techies regularly check that forum, but they should!

Ps Just out of interest, when you log in from a page other than your own home page, are you returned to your home page?

This sounds like a bug Rudest Elf, I've heard similar mentions.
