I have posted to a couple of Threads in the Flea MArket and now cannot acess these threads via the 'my conversations' list in Pliny. All of them give me only the Ooops page, while I can normally acess them in brunel.
Also in Pliny the name on the list of Entries in the Flea Market not always links to the right Entry in Pliny. Although BB says it works right in Ripley.
'A598070 Home Schooling' for instance links to the Entry 'A479973 British Rail Tannoy Announcements'.
What is lsited as ' A512795 DSL-Digital Subscriber Line' actually links to 'GenCon, the History of' (A687981) which is also listed a few lines above. 'A520093 Macintosh computers' also links to this Entry.

This is a known problem. Conversations in the Edited Guide Workshop, Flea Market and Alternative Guide Workshop are not displayed correctly in the My Conversations page in Pliny.

I don't know about the 2nd problem you describe, however.

The Home Schooling one you mention is on the very last page of the Flea Market.
I've noticed something. In Pliny, some entries are listed in the Flea Market like this:
A452873 - Queueing Systems - Abandoned
There's a hyphen between the A number and the name.
Others are like this:
A598070 Home Schooling
There's no hyphen. The ones without a hyphen all link to the wrong entries.

It only seems to be on the last page. I haven't checked all the pages, though.

So far I have also only found these on the last page.

OK, that one breaks the rule, in that it has a hyphen between the A number and the name, but still links to the wrong entry. But there is no space between the hyphen and the name. All the working ones have a space between the hyphen and the name.
No idea why this should be, but it might help Pastey track down the cause.

It gets even stranger...
' A357699 Copenhagen ' (one line above The French Riviera) also links to the Entry about New Zealand Language.
No, sorry, now that I posted on the NEw Zealand Language one both of them are linked to ' A6108473 - Norfolk - the bootiful East ', which is the Entry above them now.

Sorry, I'm afraid I messed them up by posting.
Another one on page 14:
' A405000 Lester's Diner ' links to ' A11675991 - The Crossroads: Reasons behind Child Labor in Sudan ' which currently is the Entry above it.

Page 10:
' A604162 -- Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau : Legacy of Lieder ' links (again) to the Entry above it ' A533215 - Moloko '

page 6
' A484382 Smashing Pumpkins ' and ' A432262 -- South Carolina' both link to ' A860014 - The History Of Early Greek City-States ' which is the Entry above them.
It seems like some Entries just link to the Entry above them. When the Entry above them changes the Entry they link to changes, too.
... should I stop reporting this now? Or go on when I find more?

' A459650 - Palestinians' appears on page 5 of the FM in Pliny. The link gives me the Ooops page and when I go to the Entry in brunel, by copying the A-number to the url it seems like the Entry is not in the FM at all.

If you find something that contradicts "linking to the entry above" then report it. Also, if the hyphen/space in title no longer holds?

Further to this, I was just browsing Flea Market today and noticed on Page 6 in Pliny:
Notice: Undefined variable: entryId in /var/www/pliny.h2g2.com/application/modules/default/views/scripts/forum/loadsubjectreviewforum.phtml on line 54 A280946 Aberdeen Scotland
(there is no dash after the Entry number, the Peer Review thread was moved to Flea Market directly and it is first in the list on the page)
The same appears on Page 9 - a title with two dashes after the Entry number, and again it is first in the list on the page.
Key: Complain about this post
