I'm so overwhelmed!
I have:
1. A classics paper on god knows what, and I haven't done reading. Ever. Due god knows when.
2. A negotiation memo WITH RESEARCH on the conflict between India and Pakistan over Kashmir. 3k-5k words. Due at the end of the semester.
3. A negotiation memo on some stupid case I haven't read yet. 1500 words, due april 6th.
4. A 10-12 page internship paper I only started to think about today, on whether terrorism in the US should be a military or law enforcement issue. Due at the end of the semester.
5. An internship presentation on March 31st that I learned about today. Also, that day I have to turn in an outline for #4.
I'm sure there's more I don't know about yet. Eugh.

Hang in there, Sea. This amount of work is tough, but not unbeatable.

There's somekind of joke I can make here about seas not being able to drown, but it's too early in the morning. Deep breath, make a list in order of importance, and dig in. Which I could help.

I'll trade you...or at least commiserate...
I have:
1. just finished grading 47 papers.
2. just turned in a 35 page research paper, journal article quality.
3. am about to give a final.
4. have to grade 47 of those finals.
5. have to write a 12-15 page paper...oh yeah, it was due Monday.
So I understand. Completely.

*Thanks the gods he is done with school, probably for rest of his life.*
The priority list idea is a good one, sea. Just plod through it and try not to procrastinate. (I tend to procrastinate when overwhelmed, which makes things worse). In 10 years, all you'll remember is that school was a lot of work at times, but it led you to where you are. In the whole perspective of your life, the yucky times aren't really very significant. You just endure them, then get on with the fun bits.
This, too, shall pass.

Master's paper. Honestly, it was longer. I trimmed off six pages.

I know, I scare everyone off. But you're not humanities, you're social science, and the writing load is less.

ah, good point. I'd most likely get to tear holes in current policy, which I do anyway in political discussions. I'd just have to prove my logic.
Still. *shudder* That's a verrrry big paper.
