Titania (gone for lunch) Started conversation Apr 16, 2008
From the bus stop
I see each morning
the bus stop
on the other side
I see a teenager
waiting for his bus
soon joined by
a man and his dog
It's a Rottweiler
and they both
pat it on the back
talking all the while
The bus arrives,
the boy gets on,
the man and the dog
walk away
Who are they?
Why do they meet at a bus stop?
So I picture a story
Father and son
Ugly divorce
Bile and anger
Embittered mother
refusing the father
to stay in touch
with his son
So they meet
out of sight
out of mind
at the bus stop
Or it might be
that my imagination
is painting the world
blacker than it is
Maybe there is
a different reason
But I'll never know
unless I ask
Which I won't
I'd rather make up
And another day
might mean another story
I see a story

We all do that, don't we? Stand idle and our minds go full whirl trying to story-tell about the things that we see...
Especially, if they're recurring.
Maybe the teenager is simply the kid walking the dog in the afternoons? But I'm sure you'll be able to make up far more satisfying stories yourself!
Like this one - well told

like 'carlos' said in a once very famous song here in DK:
"the truth is such a bore
each time he lies a lovely more"
Key: Complain about this post
