A matter has arisen. It contains no offense against Continuity, but has to do with one researcher taking offense at the anti-Welsh sentiments of another researcher's user page. Compared with some satire and opinion we've all seen, this may seem rather mild, but the offended researcher is asking some searching questions at http://www.h2g2.com/F38188?thread=57367 In the interests of maintaining Harmony, perhaps we could all go over, have a look, and discuss the matter with researchers bobberette and Huw B.

Haven't you read this page?
'She, along with her students, attune themselves to the delicate threads that create this reality, alert to disturbances in the continuum. When major ripples are discovered, they send words of virtue to soothe the continuity and prevent future disturbances.'

Ah I am now in humiliation mode. (Actually, I did read it last week, but have just been keeping an eye on things until now)

I've been trying my best to live up to the part. However, due to my words on one matter, a researcher was all but erased from h2g2. Not saying he didn't deserve it though, but I felt a tinge of guilt.

which was only made worse by the fact that the PTB weren't the ones that made the researcher all but disappear

I know the feeling, luckily/unluckily (depends how you look at it) we are waiting for a decision as to when we are getting 'taken over'.
Announcement in a couple of weeks.

Just read his journal entries
That's a person that needs a bit of zen influence

Yowser! I know it's his journal and everything, and the guy appears to be caught up in a lot of crap, Relationships!, but the guy needs to definately lighten up and lay off the foul mouth stuff! personally I will not be pointing him to Courtesy38's Zen Garden!
As for w***, my division may be taken over as my company hive us off.
So by the end of august I will either be in a new job (just applied for an internal position) or working for someone else or both! Either way it is going to be a hefty loss of moolah! But I need a change!

Not wanting to cause dis-continuity in this of all threads, I must ask those who are wiser than I to take a look at a recent rant of mine to see if I over reacted to a post. My egregious sin can be found at http://www.h2g2.com/F16034?thread=52746 . In my defense I must point out that I posted this at the tail end of a rather bad graveyard shift at work. Did I do the right thing in preventing thread dis-continuity? Or did I just rant for no apparent reason? marv
