Maybe I should mention dead parrots. I have already said that he is a Norwegian Blue (a live one), but the most response that I got to that was someone asking "Is he from Norway?". And the person who asked, had just finished making a Python reference! Of course, the others probably understand the reference, but just haven't felt the need to comment on it.
And I'm still pressed for time. Not sure if I can catch up on backlog today, and I'm off tomorrow (I took yesterday off work too).

Not to worry, Pierrot is getting fed at the cafe. But there's been a stir of anticipation at the Atelier, and we reckon to let Pierrot come and go through the top half of the window. It was an interesting design choice for you and Affy to do the ground floor in modern marble facing, then choose the Victorian townhouse look for the top floor, but the dropsash windows come in very handy.

Thanks.
I hate posting without reading the backlog, so I have alot of catching up to do. It's ironic that although the Atellier and Cafe forums are probably my favourites, I often leave them to last, because they have the longest backlog to read. Maybe on Thursday, I will start with those threads I'll have, let's see, 5 days worth of backlog

Alternatively GL, you could just pop in to the Cafe and leave a note for Lil, asking her to take Pierrot to the Atelier for you, or Lil, you could say GL left a message asking you to take Pierrot to the Atelier to meet Mindspring or some such. just a thought
btw I am in Alab*****d for the moment. W***!!!!!

Redbeard - the reason about this is that at the moment the site's official language is British English. This is included in the Guidelines for Sub-Editors which can be found http://www.h2g2.com/A293221

Yes, I'm aware of that Abi... I've been working on learning to think in ..our, ..ise, and ..tre when I'm on this site
I was completely expecting it to happen with the entry (Normal, Illinois, USA for those who haven't backtracked the thread) and I have no problem with it, yet it's still a surprise when your own town starts developing a different flavor-- I mean flavour.
Sort of like hearing:
"Howdy, Pardner... Y'all come visit Manchester, England right quick."

Redbeard: save yourself some sanity and just continue with your writing the way you were taught. I write all my articles in American English, and leave it to the editors to misspell everything.

Redbeard, when you get a chance, do you think you could launch a third thread for continuity and threadiquette and all? This one's getting long.
