The goths here only bother with all that on non-school-uniform days. Then they almost cover their foreheads in eyeshadow, put all their hair in bunches and spray them maroon, put on as many silver rings, earrings and noserings as possible and go round wearing Green Day stuff and thinking they're hard...

yep and next year they'll be trendies, then ther'll be a few, slight outcasts but the time they reach the sixth form thier either grungers of goths

thats weird, thats the main way of tellin, and the spikey hair, lack of bright clothes, dark blues greens and reds are usually the brightest, what else, erm often have fairly greasy hair

That's really odd, then... spikey hair- not really, greasy hair- er, no. Lack of bright clothes, yes, but then I don't wear bright clothes - or try not to. But the only way to tell for sure is to look for things saying Nirvana or Metallica or Green Day or similar... there's one guy who has a shopping trolley on his jumper though.
