I have acquired a partner, Andy We met at my astronomy club. I can honestly say I've never been happier. He's an astronomer, same age as me. He now spends more time at my house than his own, just 5 minutes away, and still working full time although I am badgering him to semi-retire. He's an astronomer All my life I have wanted a partner who shares my love of astronomy. He's an astronomer, can you believe it. I am still pinching myself. He's an astronomer.

Lily is 7 months old tomorrow. Last weekend the little family visited my home, Lily's first visit. Here she is playing peek-a-boo with Granddad Andy! http://www.facebook.com/ann.croft.73/posts/10156722006791185

Thank you Bel
I have shown Andy my photos of my old h2g2 meets, he thought the photo of you wearing the tin helmet in the Tower of London was very charming! That was such a lovely day

I got through the operation I had on my gums yesterday by designating my "happy place" as being on a cruise with Andy. He had booked the afternoon off work to drive me across the Humber Bridge to my dentist, brought me home, looked after me and read all the small print of my medication (antibiotics, steroids - never had those before!) then gave me a brief synopsis AND he still loves me even though I look like a at the moment

Went to the star party at Covenham last night. I spotted 5 meteors - Andy only saw one but it was a big overhead one we both happened to be looking in the same direction at the same time so saw it together
