as some of you may have noticed i witnessed the bolide in january

only, back then i didn't realize what it was smiley - rofl

i thought it was either firew*rks or lightning - and only wondered that we never heard anything smiley - huh

but then there was a lot of noise around us so we never wondered for long

well, they say there was quite some rumble up in the air - only i was in a chinese restaurant with lots opf people and smiley - musicalnote at the time so never heard any

however i *did* see the entire sky light up like a late august afternoon for a second or two as i was sitting in the top floor of the highest building in town, staring into the night sky and daydreaming smiley - bigeyes

One of the nights I saw my meteor last week I also saw the sky light up. I had no idea what it was. Come to think of it, it was in the east...my east is the North Sea and Europe. Right directionsmiley - winkeye
