I'm resigning my commission on h2g2 as The Thingite Warlord and heading off into retirement.
It's been a decision a long time coming and an idea I've been toying with all year.
I find myself more active in QI than the Thingites, and I'm trying to get back into writing Guide Entries because of it. Running and maintaining The Thingites was my excuse for not being more concerned about the Guide. I was part of the community side of h2g2, not the guide-side. Well I'm re-focussing.
So it's come to this - and it's not just that obviously, there's a whole host of reasons I shan't bother to enumerate, but I think the time is right.
I am now and henceforth shall forever be.
