There is a slight grammar slip in the last paragraph. The sentence currently reads
'It come either as a light or a dark beer, is sold in 0.5l glasses which look like small hollow baseball bats with their heads sawn off.'
It should read:
'It comes either as a light or a dark beer, and is sold in 0.5l glasses which look like small hollow baseball bats with their heads sawn off.'

Furhtermore "Alt" is not correctly translated.
You might be from Cologne, where people tell, that in Düsseldorf they drink just old beer...
It has the same meaning like in music (alto), btw.
The word comes from a latin word, which expresses high. So what does it tell us about beer?
It referes to the altitude (!) of the breewing temperature, that is rather high in the case of this beer type!
