Well, it's not as bad as it sounds at first fistfight. What they mean is, MS are no longer offering platform tests on new drivers for 98/98SE, but ATI themselves hvae tested certain drivers to work with that OS... for thetime being. I've been watching the web and the trades and still think it's too early to upgrade to XP.
I have to attend the Literary Society monthly meeting tonight. I've just downloaded the latest radeon driver onto the laptop, and I'll do the software install from scratch tomorrow. Time to get on with homework right now...

I'm just going to nip back to the Atelier to see what's happening....

Are we going to take the pictures with us or shall we leave them on the walls here?

Let's take them with us and put them up in the studio. I don't know about you, but sometimes I think of something else I want to do to a picture a week after it's finished...
I have a weekend guest from Florida coming tomorrow and staying through Monday morning, after which there will be a new conversation, when I finally return.
Don't worry about the supplies, though. The bot will bring them back.
Incidentally, there's a book in my studio you might like to read if you haven't already. It's "The Wilcox Guide to the Best Watercolour Paints" by Roger Wilcox. Not only has he hand-tested every paint for which he could obtain a sample, not only does he print the sample and his opinion about its quality, but he also has an encyclopedic reference to every pigment and dye on the market, whether or not it's actually being used for fine art materials. AND there's a concise history of each color. It's quite a book. I went through my whole heap of watercolours and acrylics and learned a lot.

That sounds like a very useful book. I'll have a look at it.
Have we packed everything?

Oh, sorry, that's Michael Wilcox, not Roger.
I haven't checked the bathroom yet, no. I need to clean up the kitchen, too.

I can't see anything in the bathroom that belongs to you. I can always lend you a mandible brush - I have spares littered all over h2g2.
I'll clean the kitchen surfaces. Ants are well-practised at that . We have specialist training schools, you know.

Amy, do you mind if we head out to the Magic Wood and check out that explosion before we go over to the atelier? I have to face Floradora, and I better know whether she's getting married or not.
