U132269 Started conversation Jun 1, 2000
I was just wondering why only 3 other danes(beside me) had the nerve to submit being field reaserchers?

Now the three of us can go hunting down No.4. It's about time the vikings took charge of things here (waves an enormous cutlass)!

Nice to see you too. Will get back in a couple of days. I'm in a hurry to catch a train (to Copenhagen BTW - maybe we will see each other at the harbour-festival without knowing each other? Look out for the pirate in a grey shirt holding hands with the prettiest girl in Denmark!)

I´m right here too.
To answer your question, I think that the danes favourite headdress are (sorry I can´t translate these words into english, and that I´m momentarely to lazy to get a dictionary) MUNDKURV and SKYKLAPPER which are required to get thru a life in Denmark.
The Guide does tend to open your eyes and put things into perspective so being a Field-Researcher can clash with most danes attitude towards life.
I´m glad that there are at least some danes here...

How can know that there are 4 or so danish fieldresearchers?
How do you find that kind of information?
......and by the way, if you see a guy with no shoes on, walking around the HF-kursus or the railway-station in Middelfart say hallo to Thomas from me.

To answer your question: This thread is an answer to the entry "Where in the world". See it near the top of this page? In red letters? Try to click it! If you already got so far: I don't know how Peta collected this information. But she's one of the big cheeses around here, so... Maybe she got it from these threads: http://www.h2g2.com/F19585?thread=24173 or http://www.h2g2.com/F32821?thread=38581 Take your time reading them - you'll need it!

I think I'm one of those four Danes on the list, though I'm not absolutely certain...
Anyways, other Danes include Wonko the Sane http://www.h2g2.com/U34355 and Insane EarthWorm (who haven't been in here for almost a year) http://www.h2g2.com/U102564
I come from a little town called Fuglebjerg (between Slagelse and Næstved), Wonko lives in Slagelse, and the Worm's from Roskilde.

What is there else to say than welcome hither? It seems that it's becoming crowded here after all
Maybe we should start up a "frikadelle" forum - the forum for true, genuine meatballs

Oh, there are more...! I, for one, confess to being one -- and while wearing blinkers ("skyklapper") and muzzle ("mundkurv") fits well with Sandemose's famous Jantelov (errr, Law of Jante....???), I always thought that Danes were better equipped with Viking helmets or Klap-hatte... (and, of course, a Grn Tuborg...) A quick search for "Denmark" in Edited and (just plain) Guide Entries at least gives a decently long list. Now, I don't at present have the time to chase them up, but my guess would be that some of them are Danes... In my entry on how to do your own Rugbrd (which, if you'll excuse the blatant promotion for a sec, could do well with some recommendations for being edited dropped in at http://www.h2g2.com/F48874?thread=68095), I have been daring enough to say that you can be Danish by heart, if not by nationalty -- does that conflict with you guys...? Med venlige hilsener, SG V

That last remark of yours is most interesting. Would you by any chance be from Sydslesvig as myself?
